‘Indu Sarkar’ Unfolds Darkest Periods Of Indian history

National Award-winning filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar’s upcoming film, ‘Indu Sarkar’ has already created a good hype prior to its release.

The movie is based on the dark period of June 1975, the dark day that marked the beginning of the emergency.

Featuring Kirti Kulhari, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Anupam Kher and Tota Roy Choudhry, the movie promises to highlight some key events that occurred in those 21 months between 1975 and 1977 when the government had the authority to rule by decree.

From the trailer, one can conclude that Madhur has once again weaved a striking story of political unrest. And it will be interesting to witness those events post the release of the movie.

‘Indu Sarkar’ is set to release on July 28.
