In a first for a Bollywood film, the trailer of actor Arjun Rampal’s upcoming movie, ‘Daddy’, was launched at the popular Google headquarters in California. He is the fifth Indian film personality after Shah Rukh Khan, AR Rahman, Ajay Devgn and Kajol to be extended a special invite by the search engine company.
Apart from unveiling the trailer, Arjun was also involved in a live chat with audiences from across the globe. Talking about his experience, Rampal said, “It was an honour to be invited by the world’s most popular search engine to unveil my film’s trailer. With this, I’ve created maximum reach for my film, and also connected personally with each and every fan of mine. ‘Daddy’ is special for me because it has a lot of emotions associated with it, both on-screen and off it. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for more.”
While touring across the US, Arjun also collaborated with an NGO and participated in gala dinners organized in cities like Houston, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. The actor urged people to help provide food and education to the underprivileged kids in India and also raised considerable funds for the initiative.
The Ashim Ahluwalia directorial is a biopic on the underworld don, Arun Gawli and will hit theatre screens on July 21. It also stars Aishwarya Rajesh, Nishikant Kamat, Rajesh Shringarpure and Anand Ingale in crucial roles.
