Matin Rey Tangu in ‘Tubelight’
Call him cute, energetic and fun, Matin Rey Tangu is the cutest child artist in town. Having debuted in Bollywood with Salman Khan’s, ‘Tubelight’, the little one has already created a huge fan base owing to his energy. Besides entertaining everyone at a promotional event of the film and having a fun time with Salman, Matin’s performance in the film was also striking. Addition to the plate was his comic timing.
Harshali Malhotra in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’
Another adorable child artist who stole hearts with her cuteness was Harshali Malhotra, who was also seen in a Dabangg movie. Harshali played the role of Munni in Salman’s, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, also starring Kareena Kapoor. She played a mute Pakistani girl who gets lost in India but reaches her home with the help of Pawan played by Salman. Her performance not only won her the Filmfare award nomination for the best debutant actress female but also made her the youngest artist to be nominated in the category. She won the Screen award for the best child artist.
Riya Vij in Gippi
Remember the plummy girl who won hearts with the role of Gurpreet Kaur aka Gippi in the film, ‘Gippi’? Yes, her real name is Riya Vij and it was a chanced audition that landed her the role. Actually, Riya had accompanied her friend for an audition for the role. But, while her friend desperately wanted the role, Riya was selected for it and the rest his history. Though a promising child artist, Riya aims to become a dentist.
Sara Arjun in ‘Ek Thi Daayan’
Sara Arjun started her career with ad films and debuting in Bollywood with 404. But her role of Misha Mathur in ‘Ek Thi Daayan’ was greatly appreciated. Besides, she has also charmed the audience in South post her critically acclaimed performance in the Tamil movie, ‘Deiva Thirumagal.’
Doyel Dhawan in ‘Aatma’
Another child artist who impressed everyone is Doyel Dhawan, who played Bipasha Basu and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s daughter in the horror flick, ‘Aatma’. She was selected from among 450 contestants for the role. The young bundle of talent wants to become a dancer and actor. Both Bipasha and Nawaz were impressed by the talented Doyel.
